Maturing Together In Christ
“They Devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
Acts 2:42
Adult Education and Spiritual Formation
Adult Education and Spiritual Formation includes our efforts to help each individual to spiritually grow. This happens in Care Groups, in our quarterly all-church prayer sessions, in the encouragement we give to each other to spend time in Scripture and sharing in other spiritual disciplines, in special classes, in sharing together in ministry, in ministry training opportunities, and in the relationships we build with one another. In a sense our entire approach to discipleship is about spiritual formation, helping each other to daily grow and daily live in such a way that moves us toward being like Jesus.
Much of the focus of our Adult Education and Spiritual Formation Ministry is in the form of directed Bible Study.
Classes are offered Sunday morning from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM, and there are special classes that meet at different times, most often in a six week format.
The following Sunday morning classes are presently offered:
- Foundations for Christian Living - John Casella
- The Power of the Gospel: Paul's letter to the Romans - Kelly Carter
- Understanding Today's Youth Culture - John Close
- Women's Care Group
There is also a Bible Study class on Wednesday evenings at the church building at 7pm.
